Its not just a game. Its a life.

"Most videogames follow the conventions of a sporting event: competition resulting in a decisive victory. There are a few exceptions where the game is more of a tool, and players derive fun out of it in their own way. The most recognizable example of the latter category is Maxis' "The Sims." Nintendo's new "Animal Crossing" falls into this category as well."

Console Gold has posted a quick review of Animal Crossing. Here is a bit of what they had to say about the game:

"Ultimately you can do whatever you want to do. To do all the fun stuff though, you need cash. Cash is gathered rather easily, as helping out the townspeople tend to reward you with all kind of stuff. Tired of helping the people? Well, just wander around and give your local tree a good shake. You’ll be surprised to see what falls out."

This one should intrest anyone into retro gaming. It seems with a copy of Animal Crossing and a Game Boy Advance you can download classic NES games like Excitebike to take with you.
