Rainbow Six 3 on it's way to Gamecube
written by: James Cooper on 6/16/2004 1:16:29 PM

San Francisco, CA – Today Ubisoft announced that Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six 3 will be available for the Gamecube later this week in retail outlets across the U.S.

The Xbox and PS2 versions have both received excellent sales on their respective platforms, and surely Ubisoft expects no less from the Gamecube population of gamers. Just as in the other 2 versions of the game, Rainbow Six 3 for Gamecube will see you take control of a 4 man counter-terrorist squad. The Gamecube version will feature split-screen multiplayer action, which was absent on the Xbox version.

“Nintendo GameCube fans have been searching for a great action game and have been clamoring for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 for months. Well, clamor no more – the hands-down leader in counter-terrorist gaming has arrived,” said Tony Kee, vice president of marketing for Ubisoft. “Now, whatever their console of choice, gamers can enjoy the industry-leading graphics, intense action, split-screen collaboration and trademark Clancy realism that have established Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six 3 as one of the best and most popular action titles on the market today.”

Gamecube fans should expect to see the popular shooter on store shelves before the end of the week.
