One thing is for sure, EA sure knows how to throw a party. Imagine finally making it to E3, after waiting in the airport for 45 minutes for your ride, not being able to get an early check-in at the hotel, then finding that the two blocks you thought you'd walk to the convention center turns out to be 10. Well you'd be happy to sit down somewhere and catch your breath, right? EA changed all of that for yours truly when they opened up E3 with Oscar De La Hoya and Sugar Ray Leonard facing off in a makeshift ring which featured Knockout Kings. While all the hype drew large crowds, the product on display has a lot of work ahead before its ready to contend. We'll take a longer look at this product at a later date but for now here's the tale of the tape.

Famous referee Mills Lane also worked with EA SPORTS on the game and was the motion capture model for the game's official. During the creation of the game, Lane gave EA SPORTS invaluable insights into the world of boxing.
