Description:
On the night of 16th May 1943 nineteen specially adapted Avro Lancasters, led by Wing Commander Guy Gibson and crewed by the cream of Bomber Command, took part in the most famous raid of WWII on the dams that checked the waters of the River Ruhr. Their skill and bravery have gone down in history and even todays 617 Squadron is known as The Dam Busters. Now you can follow their exploits in Combat Flight Simulator 2 from the famous bombing of the dams with the Upkeep bouncing bomb to the sinking of the Tirpitz. Flight Simulator 2002 pilots can enjoy the flying experience of these amazing machines and also visit the authentic dams. Dim the lights and get two fried eggs on the stove!
