Xenosaga reviewed over at the 'Spot.

Gamespot has up their official take on Namco's huge anime-themed RPG, Xenosaga.

"Playing through Xenosaga involves watching an inspired anime sci-fi miniseries unfold, as the game packs in literally hours upon hours of noninteractive 3D cutscenes. Often, you do more watching than playing, so if you're the sort who gets frustrated at having to sit through cutscenes, then do yourself a favor and don't bother with this game."

No it's not a sequel to Xenogears. Yes it is good. Review.

Xenosaga was a pretty good hit over in Japan and were glad Namco has brought it Stateside. Here's a snippet from RPG Fan's nice review:

"The world of Xenosaga takes place thousands of years in the future, where humanity has spread out into the far reaches of space to form the UMN (Unus Mundus Network) with their capital now situated on the planet Second Miltia, due to an incident which occurred 14 years ago on their original home planet of Miltia."

Well not a sequel or related to Squares much hailed classic, Xenogears, Namco's Xenosaga looks to have everything to be a classic of its own right. Check the full preview by clicking above.

"There is more than enough to keep the player pushing ahead through the story. "
