Activision has announced (and shown off) Spider Man 2 for the PSP. While it's still a mystery whether or not the PSP title will share the same content as the console iterations or if it's going to be a brand new foray, one thing is very obvious: This game looks great.

Spider Man moves just as smoothly on Sony's (not so) little screen as he does on their big one. The footage shown offered a few hints at the games combat system, which looks largely untouched from the last game. Spider Man looks to have plenty of moves at his disposal, just as always, and of course, he'll be able to shoot his webs and swing around. The mystery is to what level he will be able to do so. The idea of having the free roaming gameplay the console versions have is indeed a nice one, but we're pretty sure this won't be the case.
