GameAssault has recently posted their review of Halo for the Xbox giving it 10 out of 10. Here is a bit of what they thought:

"Right now there is no better game out there. It’s only a matter of time before every new FPS tries to call itself a “Halo killer”. If you don’t already have this game, you and I can never be friends."

VGF has done a review of Halo giving it a 9.8/10 with this to say:

Well, if you are going to buy a Xbox, MAKE SURE YOU BUY THIS GAME. If you aren’t going to buy one, then change your mind and then buy this game. It is the single best game I have ever played, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it won Game of the Year.

IGN has had a chance to preview the upcoming action game for the XBox: Halo.

"As it looks now, Halo will be the killer application, the sytem-mover that Xbox needs to get off the ground on November 8. It's got the polished good looks to show off the system's capabilities and most importantly it will have the depth and intricacies that gamers demand once they've gotten over the glitz and the glamor.

Halo should be a turning point in console games."
