"Barbarian really didn't do the business for me. It did have an intriguing RPG element to the game with its turn-based fighting and attribute building, yet lacked anything new when compared to Soul Calibur. It is, in all honesty, more of the 'same old same old.' Even the multi-player section failed to hold my attention for a lengthy period of time, plus the speed of it all really faltered for a fighting game."
