Hmm runs fine on my PC, never a single crash.  Maybe your AMD based system just can't handle it.  nub!  ;) 

The game is amazing, but lacks Multi-player (the only downside IMO).  It's got an amazing story, atmosphere and the AI is good.  The graphics are great and the soundtrack is even better.  The game is VERY interesting.
