Here is just one of the comments All Dreamcast had to say about the latest offering in the Quake console version:

Whether you're playing it online or offline, alone or with friends, Quake III Arena on the Dreamcast will leave you in a state of disbelief. For all the horribly bad PC-to-console ports we've seen over the years, this time, maybe even for the first time, the console version has been done right. Gamepen has done a review of Quake 3 Arena for the Dreamcast with this to say:
The control is fine, even with a Dreamcast controller. It takes time to get used to, but the controller actually does a fine job commanding your warrior.
