Overall:: "Capcom has done a good job of putting together a short, simple, and fun game. In its essence the game resembles other Dreamcast titles like Giga Wing and Gunbird 2, in that it's an overly simple and short game. For a mere $30 however, the game's length is justified although it's recommended unless you're out of lengthier quality Dreamcast titles to go after, holding off
It's safe to say that anyone who enjoys shooters, or who is a big Capcom fan, will enjoy Cannon Spike while it lasts. It's a fun game, offering intense action in short bursts, which is exactly what you'd expect from an arcade game. Unfortunately, Capcom chose to reduce the price rather than include any extras, and you really do get what you pay for. If I had paid $50 for this game, I'd be returning it the day I bought it.
