In a surprise announcement by Nintendo today, Nintendo unveiled a brand new Super Mario Bros. game for the Nintendo DS. Super Mario Bros. DS will be the first new Super Mario Bros. game to grace a Nintendo system since Super Mario Bros. 3 on NES.
Little is known about the exciting title except that it will feature 3d character models on 2d side scrolling levels. Gameplay will be akin to the Mario Bros. of old, with some new quirks.
No official release date yet, but we can't wait to get our hands on it! More as it becomes available.
