"Overall, I was very happy with Sonic and kept me playing longer than Sonic on NeoGeo Pocket Color did. It has a decent depth, and gives us the way Sonic should play unlike what has happened to him in Sonic Adventure. Those who have never played a Sonic game on the Genesis should pick this up, and Sonic fans alike should definitely give this one a purchase."
