Golden Sun Review

GameSpot has completed their review of Golden Sun for the GBA.

"Golden Sun holds its own against most full-sized console games. While the quest could be longer, the time spent in it is nearly all quality time--it has less shameless filler than other RPGs. The game offers tight graphics, polished gameplay, and a solid story, which provide a great showcase for the GBA. You'll be left wanting more, and judging by the game's ending, we may see a sequel."

Overall: 8.6

IGN has completed their review of Golden Sun for the GBA.

"The quest is amazingly long, absolutely gorgeous to look at, a joy to listen to...and though the link cable mode isn't much to write home about, it's enough to increase the replay value further when you've conquered the adventure. It's a no-brainer that the series will continue, as RPG fans are going to love what Camelot has produced for the Game Boy Advance, and I for one can't wait for Golden Sun 2."

Overall: 9.7

VGF lets us know what they expect from the upcoming GBA RPG Golden Sun.

"Golden Sun is really a throw-back to the days when 16-bit RPGs ruled the earth. Start counting the days till it launches in Japan in March 2001. If we Americans are lucky, Golden Sun will be here when GBA launches in July 2001."
