Now we have a reason to call this the "season of joy" with the release of not one, but two great Metroid games. Here's a review of Metroid Prime, the 3D update that's been praised by all that have played it. Click above for the review.

Well you can put to rest those "They can never make Metroid 3D" thoughts because this game is fan-flubbering-tastic.

The lucky editors over at Gamespot were shown a couple more levels of Nintendo's latest killer app. They even announced Gameboy Advance link capabilities (no info as of yet). Check out the detailed descriptions of the newly revealed levels now!

TheGCube has obtained some info. regarding Metroid:

"Samus has finally returned! Metroid Prime is coming to the Nintendo GameCube -- and not a moment too soon. We don't know all that much about the game yet; But what we do know is very exciting."
