Gamespy's posted a nice in-depth preview of Inevitable Entertainment's The Hobbit. The game lets you play the part of Bilbo Baggin's as you follow along the storyline straight from the book. Check the full preview by clicking the link above.

GameSpot has recently posted a preview of the The Hobbit for the GameCube. Here is a little of what they thought:
"Already 18 months into development, The Hobbit has presented an interesting challenge to its creators. It's a balancing act to make sure the game stays true to the book's roots while still being exciting to play from beginning to end. But after speaking with Sierra regarding the project, it's obvious that it recognizes the challenge at hand and is willing to take it on."
