Today at RPG Vault, they take a look at the recently released free downloadable dungeon set from Black Isle Studios.

It's a long journey to Icewind Dale in the far north of Faerun, and it has been a long journey for Icewind Dale as well with the original game, an expansion and now a free downloadable dungeon pack that adds a new quest to the latter. In our Heart of Winter: Trials of the Luremaster Review, we return to the adventure and see what's new since our last visit.

Several weeks ago, it was made known that members of the Icewind Dale team at Black Isle Studios are working on a free downloadable dungeon pack that will plug into the Heart of Winter expansion pack. We thought you might like a look ahead, and Black Isle was kind enough to oblige with some cool new screenshots posted on our front page.

Black Isle is in the process of developing a free, downloadable, expansion pack for Icewind Dale's Heart of Winter. Some of the features of this expansion include:

Two main new areas to explore with a variety of sub levels.

20-40 new magic items, five to ten of which will be taken from our customer's submissions via their web boards

Many new puzzles, traps, and more.
