Another contributor to WomenGamers has finished reviewing Warcraft III with this to say:

"Blizzard has done more than just churn out a sequel for a quick buck. A lot of effort was put into this game, and it really shows. The missions have variety to them, and an honest effort was made with the inclusion of the Hero units and what they add to the mix."

A contributor to WomenGamers has posted their review of Warcraft III. Here is a bit of what they had to say:

"When I was in college (in the before times), WCII was one of the marathon, all-night games we played in a huge computer lab, wiping bleary eyes and drinking quarts of Mountain Dew, trying to focus and stay sharp as hordes of bloodlust-filled orcs poured over the 3D landscape to torment our poor, innocent humans. We only wanted to live in peace!"

Gamers Europe has posted their review of Warcraft 3. Here is a bit of what they thought:

"In conclusion, Warcraft 3 is like non-other you have ever seen. It completely shatters everything before it and has completely raised the bar to games to come. This game has to be one of the best this year, and we at GE won't be surprised if this game wins tonnes of awards."

X-Sages has thrown in their review of Blizzard's latest blockbuster, Warcraft III. Here's a snippet:

"The visuals in the game are absolutely stunning. The Night Elves are alone worth the price of the game. The living trees that make up their buildings are a joy to watch as they conjure units. Each and every character has been beautifully rendered, and the animated run, stand and attack motions are smooth."

GameSpot has given Warcraft III quite a positive review. Here's a blurb:

"Warcraft III adds some much-needed variety to the traditionally slow early stages of a real-time strategy battle. Typically, the initial build-up period in such games is merely a race to get to the best units first. That's somewhat true of Warcraft III, but at least you're not just going through the paces while you construct your base."

ActionTrip has posted their review to Blizzard's long-awaited 3D RTS game, Warcraft III. Here's a blurb:

"It took me less than four days of maniacal play (more than sixteen hours per day) to finish the campaigns on normal level. The campaigns can be played either on the Normal or Hard level of difficulty, but if you have a lot of trouble with a certain mission (have to restart it a couple of times), the game will offer you to reduce the difficulty to Easy."

GameSpy is first out of the gate with their extensive Warcraft III Review. Here's a blurb about the single player component:

"All in all, the single-player campaign is phenomenal in scope and design. The missions vary in complexity (with both a normal and hard setting) and are well balanced."

Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos Review

Gamezilla has done a preview of Warcraft III: Reign of Chaos with this to say:

This is going to be one popular game. Frankly it was hard for me to write this review, because I kept going back to “play test" the Beta. The addition of heroes adds a much-needed element to the sometimes-formulaic RTS genre without causing balance issues or giving one player a foot up on others.

We want the Heroes and dark elves today, of course, but it's anyone's guess when we'll actually see this game. However, if we still know Blizzard, we'll get it "when it's ready."
