DreamCatcher Games E3 Line-up 2003

Toronto, April 22nd, 2003 , DreamCatcher Games today announced its full line-up for the Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3). The company will be showcasing 5 new products, including the much anticipated Painkiller on PC and Arx Fatalis on Xbox.

“ With such a strong and diverse portfolio , this is set to be our most exciting E3 ever,” commented DreamCatcher Games CEO, Richard Wah Kan, “we have some great new games that we ’ re anxious to show off , and look forward to the positive impressions our line-up will create at this year ’ s show .”

Two products will stand out at E3 for DreamCatcher Games . The first is Painkiller , the company’s head-lining product - a stunning first-person shooter for the PC. The second is Arx Fatalis – the critically acclaimed PC game being shown on Xbox for the first time. BattleCruiser Generations , Pilot Down and X-treme Beach Soccer complete the line-up.

E3 2003 Product Line-up

Painkiller PC only

This first-person horror shooter takes ‘Painkiller , ’ a mercenary for hire, and puts him smack in the middle of his favorite environment - the home of the undead. Painkiller uses the Havok ™ physics engine allowing inverse kinematics and deformable, interactive environments. A proprietary 3D engine puts out 100 times the polygons of some of the latest FPS games.
