Description:
Sea Dogs II will consist of 25 small, fictional islands that will be home to colonies belonging to one of the top European powers at the time: England, France, Spain, Portugal and Holland. Most of the islands will serve as large port towns and be guarded with forts. Gamers will also encounter large tropical landscapes as well as hidden locations such as a treasure cave or a smuggler’s lair. Users will be able to anchor their ship close to shore in order to explore these secret locales. There will be nothing hush-hush about the port towns, which will be bustling with motion: Different buildings, including taverns, stores, churches, town halls and more will be located on the populated islands. Gamers will meet sailors and merchants, guards and common citizens, smugglers and officers, and prostitutes and lushes. All of these characters will be able to converse with users, giving them information and quests and participating in various intrigues and adventures. Once all the scripted scenarios are completed, gamers will be able to use Sea Dogs II’s quest generator to create additional content. A powerful editor will also be included, allowing fans to create their own add-ons.
