"If you are a novice to the world of MMORPGs, take a look at E&B as it will ease you in to the genre very nicely. If you’re a veteran MMORPG player, you might want to pass this tile up and wait for Star Wars: Galaxies."

"There isn't really a last word at this time; Earth & Beyond being a persistent state title, it has the potential to carry on for years. What I will say now is that in every major area, it has either met or exceeded my expectations as a player. I can certainly envision myself continuing to play for some time."

The Wargamer has posted their preview of Westwood's upcoming Sci-FI MMORPG. Here's a taste:
"I was surprised to learn that Earth and Beyond's interface is keyboard and mouse only, and there are currently no plans to offer joystick support. However, the game's pace is far slower than that of "turn and burn" titles like Wing Commander (a necessity for a massive online game that hopes to be playable over dial-up connections), and lightning-quick response times aren't really necessary."

GameSpot has written a preview of Westwood's upcoming Sci-Fi MMORPG, Earth and Beyond. Here's the blurb:
"What Earth & Beyond will do is track the individual accomplishments of each guild member and then award the entire guild experience points. Every time a guild member scores a kill, the guild will get a fraction of experience points. If a guild member makes a successful trade, the guild will get experience, and so on."
