IL-2 SturmovikT: Forgotten Battles Now Available

San Francisco - March 5, 2003 - Ubi Soft Entertainment, one of the top ten video game publishers in the world, today announced that the highly anticipated World War II combat flight simulation IL-2: Forgotten Battles has shipped to retailers in North America.

IL-2: Forgotten Battles is the full-featured sequel to the hugely popular, multi-award winning IL-2: Sturmovik World War II combat flight simulation. Created by 1C Maddox Games, IL-2: Forgotten Battles adds new maps and missions for both single and multiplayer play, as well as dozens of new World War II aircraft, including the American P-47 "Thunderbolt" and German Ju-87 "Stuka," in addition, a new Dynamic Campaign System has been added for almost limitless replayability. " New flight dynamics
" New AI scripting to create more realistic battles
" New engine management relating to radiators, superchargers and fuel mixture control for different altitudes
" Online track recorder and editor
" A new system of single play track recording and editing
" Search lights and barrage balloons (including intercommunication with AA artillery)
" New ships including the Russian battleship Marat, Russian cruisers Aurora and Kirov and German cruiser Niobe (but not limited to)
" Play up to 32 players online in dogfight and in cooperative modes (depending on your internet connection)
" New special effects including realistic water
