RPGDot has posted their preview of The Fall: Last Days of Gaea.

"The Fall will feature a large and unique gameworld that provides players a high degree of freedom. Set somewhere between Texas and Arizona in the US, Carsten Strehse says there are "dozens" of areas on the map and each area is typically a couple of miles large with towns, villages, enclaves and so on."

"If the engineering skill of a character is high enough, he can build his own weapons or upgrades for weapons. The higher the skill the more complex stuff can be build. The same for armors."

RPGDot has posted an interview with Carsten Strehse on the design team for The Fall: Last Days of Gaea.

"The Fall - Last Days of Gaia is a post-apocalyptic 3D RPG. In terms of comparison, the scenario is similar to Mad Max or Fallout, the Look & Feel to Morrowind or Gothic. The story is about a climate cataclysm caused by mankind itself. In 2062, so called Terraformers blow enormous amounts of CO2 in earth's atmosphere."
