Madden NFL 2002 Review
posted by: N/A on 10/5/2001 9:35:24 AM

VGF has finished their review of the newest Madden NFL title for the PS2.

"Don’t get me wrong, Madden’s still an awesome football franchise and Madden NFL 2002 is another worthy entry. It’s better than any other PS2 football game this year (besides NCAA Football 2002), and that makes it the game to own for PS2 football fans. Just don’t expect much in the way of innovation or atmosphere."

Gamer Xtreme lets us know what they thought of the newest Madden football game for the PS2.

"While you'll probably still find a few people who dislike the Madden games, don't pay attention to them. Just laugh in their face and continue having fun with this little gem of a game. No, it isn't perfect and EA still has some room for improvement, but I challenge you to come up with a better game of football. Everyone can enjoy it!"

Madden NFL 2002 Preview

IGN previews the upcoming Madden Football for the PS2:

"We're definitely going to want to get our hands on this game in more length, but based on our first impressions, this is pretty much what we thought it'd be -- an improved version of Madden NFL 2001. It has marked improvements in many of the problem areas of last year's version, but nothing in the way of new revolutionary gameplay. So, if you're a fan of Madden NFL 2001, then Madden NFL 2002 is definitely going to please you."
