3D Gaming Daily has posted a review of Encore Software's unique Xbox racer, Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars. Doesn't some chariot racing/gladiator fighting sound like some good old-fashioned fun? Well, unfortunately with this title, it turns out to be about as much fun as a root canal. Here is a blurb:

"Sound overall is probably the best aspect of this title, but that isn't saying much for Circus Maximus."

Encore announced yesterday that Circus Maximus: Chariot Wars for Xbox has gone gold. The chariot racing game, which is set in ancient Rome, is expected to be in stores by the end of this month. The “Teen” rated game will retail for approximately $50.
