Shenmue 2 Review

Gamers Europe has posted their review of Shenmue 2 with this to say about the game:

"But ultimately, if you have the Dreamcast version then there’s no point whatsoever in getting this – it’s exactly the same game. Hell, it’s even got the same flaws as the DC original. A bad port this may be (hence the score), but you need to buy this if you've not already."

Shenmue was that certain kind of game that only comes once every few years for gamers. Its more than a game, it's a story and a world in which you live. The first in the series really polarized audiences on the Dreamcast and the sequel (which was originally released in Japan and Europe on the DC) will surely do the same thing. A definite rental to see if you like it, but a great game none-the-less. Click the link above for All RPG's great review.

Shenmue was like a big ole' whack to the head for console gamers. It was like nothing we'd ever played before. Not everyone enjoyed the ride, but you had to love the concept. Shenmue II promises deeper gameplay and an even bigger world. How is the sequel to one of the most beloved games of the died-all-too-soon Dreamcast coming along? Click the link to find out.
