"The biggest change from Sea Dogs is the expansion of the land element – in the original it was simply a matter of a few buildings and only one or two being open to you, but in Sea Dogs 2 all the shops are open to your perusal, but the rest of the island is quite restricted. This is to prevent a second game being created based on land adventures."
