Enter the Matrix Enters at Number One!

Atari is celebrating its first number one game this week as the latest ChartTrack/ELSPA charts reveal Enter The Matrix has pushed The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker from the top slot.
Stuart Furnival, UK MD commented, "Atari UK are very happy with the sales of Enter The Matrix over the first weekend. It was a well planned launch, supported brilliantly by all our customers for which we thank them hugely."
"The instore impact is excellent and given that The Matrix : Reloaded film releases this week we expect lots more press and sales," Furnival continued. "Our own campaign for the game runs heavyweight for the next two months on TV, Radio and outdoor."
After two weeks at number one, Nintendo's Zelda drops five places to the number six position in the top 10 charts. Elsewhere, GTA: Vice City rises seven places to take up the number two slot, with Rockstar also hogging the number three place with Midnight Club II.
Along with Enter The Matrix, the only other new entry into the top 10 was Activision’s Return to Castle Wolfenstein: Tides of War on Xbox which enters at number four.
